About the Role As a Finance Officer, you will provide high-quality financial and administrative support within a busy finance team. You will assist with general ledger functions, financial reporting support, procurement processing, reconciliations, and stakeholder liaison. These roles require strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and confidence working within established financial frameworks and systems. Key Responsibilities Support general ledger integrity and financial processing activities. Assist with month-end activities including journals, accruals and reconciliations. Maintain financial registers and asset records in accordance with policy. Respond to stakeholder enquiries and provide finance-related advice. Contribute to process improvement and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Assist with financial reporting requirements, including support for year-end activities where required. About You To be successful, you will demonstrate: Previous experience in a Finance Officer / Assistant Finance Officer role (AO4 level or similar). Experience in general ledger processing and financial reconciliations. Strong Microsoft Excel capability. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with SAP or FinanceOne (highly desirable). Experience working within government or large, complex organisations (highly regarded).
