We service a wide geographical area including the suburbs of Delacombe, Redan and Sebastopol and rural townships within the Golden Plains. We are proud to be a community school which delivers learning programs for students from foundation through to the completion of year 12. Our College community includes a diverse range of families from various socio-economic backgrounds. Our Senior School structure has embraced the implementation of the new VCE and we are proud to offer a wide range of VCE and VET subjects both at school and through the cluster. Our Managed Individual Pathway (MIP¿s) Team has expert knowledge and skills and our ability to support the transition to university, TAFE or work is exceptional. Senior students are supported by our designated VCE study centre, complete with a study centre manager, tutors and individually selected mentors. Selection Criteria SC1 Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role. SC2 Demonstrated capacity to work and collaborate with others in a team environment. SC3 Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively in a team environment, including high level oral and written communication skills. SC4 Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position. SC5 Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management and other school staff in respect to the work area. Role Position Purpose The School Operations Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and visually engaging learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position supports the presentation and upkeep of the classrooms, school grounds and facilities, contributing to a welcoming and orderly learning environment that reflects the pride we have in our college.

Requirements
* A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Physical capacity to undertake manual tasks, including lifting and use of hand tools
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
* Installing and maintaining student work displays and art exhibitions across the school
* Cleaning and upkeep of communal spaces such as mini-kitchens and staff areas
* Minor graffiti removal and touch-up cleaning as required
* Hanging pictures, signage, and information boards
* General classroom maintenance, including cleaning, tidying and basic repairs
* Maintenance and repair of student lockers
* Conducting basic repairs and manual tasks as requested by the Business Manager or Leadership Team
* Ensuring buildings and facilities are locked and secured when vacant
* Ensuring all work is conducted in line with relevant safety regulations and school policies
* Other tasks as delegated by the Principal
