A growing aviation logistics team in Perth is seeking a motivated and commercially minded professional to support and develop cargo solutions for a wide range of clients. This role suits someone who enjoys relationship-building, problem-solving, and working in a fast-moving environment.
About the Role
* Coordinate cargo movements by working directly with aviation partners to secure suitable aircraft for client requirements.
* No limit on cargo types. This ranges from general freight to specialist, sensitive, and high-value shipments.
* Build long-term relationships with clients and aviation partners across the region.
* Monitor and manage daily flight activity, including changes, delays, and urgent cargo needs.
* Handle diverse cargo categories including DG, frozen goods, batteries, and live animals.
* Flexible working hours; occasional travel to accompany priority shipments.
* Full training provided.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years' experience in sales, account management, business development, logistics, or supply chain.
* Background in airfreight or freight forwarding is a strong advantage.
* Demonstrated ability to develop new business and identify client needs.
* Degree-qualified preferred; strong industry experience also considered.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Second language skills are beneficial.
* Ambitious, adaptable, and eager to learn a specialist sector within aviation.
* Comfortable working outside standard office hours when required.
* Highly organised with strong multitasking capability.
* Resilient under pressure.
* Valid Australian driver's licence.
* Willing to travel.
