About Bass Coast Health:
On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

Mandatory Requirements
* Experience as a Commercial Chef
* Experience and success in equivalent roles
* Punctual, organised and trustworthy, professional presentation.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to resolve conflict in a calm and constructive manner.
* Experience in stock management for all catering requirements
* Experience in managing a roster on an operation basis
* Ability to solve problems and think-on-your-feet, with willingness to take initiative and make decisions.
* Ability to delegate tasks effectively.
* Coaching skills at both an organisational and individual level.
* Sound project management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* A valid Police Check
* Healthcare to whom the mandatory vaccination (influenza vaccination) directions apply, will be required to be vaccinated annually
DESIRABLE:
* Experience working in a health, aged care or Not-For-Profit environment
