Associate Director Role
Effective risk management frameworks are critical to the success of Westpac Institutional Bank.
As an Associate Director in the BCM team, you will play a pivotal leadership role in managing change and monitoring obligations. You will ensure consistent implementation and embedding of risk management policies and controls across the business value chain.
You will partner with key stakeholders to develop solutions to risk issues through end-to-end implementation.
Promote a strong risk culture that embodies ethics and integrity while balancing commercial and customer needs.
Responsibilities include:
* Contribute to divisional operations and align risk practices with Group frameworks, policies and regulatory requirements
* Drive a risk and controls culture by providing expertise to identify, assess and action risk and control issues
* Monitor, manage and report current and emerging risks for a strong risk culture and awareness
* Develop the risk profile of the business including defining and operationalising relevant metrics
* Identify and enable efficient risk practices by partnering with stakeholders across the value chain
* Provide risk advice in incidents and remediation programs
* Ensure high quality outcomes are achieved by acting as standard bearer for certain Group policies and procedures
