- Recognised National units of competence that align to this position
- Proven work history as a Terminal Operator with relevant qualifications
- Flexible to work over a 24/7 roster and cover sick leave
- Current LF forklift ticket
- First Aid Certificate
- Current 'CN' Reach Stacker License, with proven operational experience
- Current Slewing Mobile Crane Licence - CO, C1, C2 or C6.
- Possess a current Class HR motor vehicle driver's licence with no restrictions
- Ability to pass all required pre-employment recruitment testing, inclusive of CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessments plus any site-specific tests/inductions
- Have a high commitment to your own safety and the health and safety of others
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Be able to work under pressure in a rapid-paced environment
- Ability to work in close communication with Depot Management and Operations Staff
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Safely and efficiently handle the loading and unloading of goods from rail rolling stock, employing proper handling methods, and adhering to procedural processes
- Ensure customer (internal and external) service time frames and service levels are being met
- Perform routine pre-start inspections on Reach Stackers, equipment and refer any defects or needed repairs to the Depot Supervisor
- Operate all equipment and machinery within the approved speed limits and safe operating procedures
- Complete all documentation accurately as directed
