About the opportunity
Based at the Holcim Pakenham Quarry, your primary focus will be maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the crushing plant. Tasks include:
* Completing scheduled cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, drains, and external equipment surfaces.
* Utilising pressure washers, hoses, wheelbarrows, shovels, and scrapers to clear material spillages.
* Assisting our maintenance team with basic tasks and repairs as required.
* Keeping basic cleaning records and flagging any equipment issues or safety hazards identified during your shift.
* Working cooperatively with production teams while strictly adhering to all SHE requirements and wearing necessary PPE.
Working hours are typically 2:30pm-11:00pm Monday to Thursday and 10am – 6:30pm Friday.
About you
We are looking for someone who is motivated and mechanically minded. Ideally, you possess:
* Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing cleaning (highly regarded).
* Experience with Skid Steers, Mini‐Excavators, or Forklifts is a major plus, though we are happy to train the right candidate.
* The ability to work independently without constant supervision while still being a team player.
* Clear communication skills and a strong eye for detail.
* Capability to handle a physically demanding role involving manual labour.
