About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our dedicated team at Little Possums Preschool & Early Learning Centre in Warren, NSW. As an ECT, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work within a supportive and nurturing environment.
What you'll be doing
* Leading the Preschool program and performing the role of Educational Leader within the service
* Designing and implementing innovative, play-based learning programs that foster the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children
* Providing a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that meets the individual needs of each child
* Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development
* Maintaining detailed records and documentation to monitor children's progress and inform future planning
* Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching practice
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant early childhood education regulations and standards
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher in a similar setting
* Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best teaching practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Demonstrated ability to create and implement engaging, play-based learning programs
* Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of children
* Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
