Join the team at After Hours On Call Australia as an After Hours Admin & Rostering Support Officer.
This is a casual position providing after-hours support for our partners in the Aged and Disability Care & Child Safety sector.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the support requirements are met and maintained and seamless service provision is achieved outside of standard business hours.
What you'll be doing
Respond to after-hours calls from clients, their families and stakeholders to provide guidance and support.
Rostering and filling of shifts for multiple providers using various CRM/Rostering systems.
Provide empathetic and person-centred care, tailoring your approach to the individual needs of each participant.
Liaise with Staff and Stakeholders and emergency services to escalate issues to senior advisors
Documenting all interactions and maintaining detailed call logs.
Escalate any critical incidents as per protocols.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of after-hours support services and our offerings.
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a similar after-hours or on-call advisory role, ideally within the aged care or disability support sector.
Case Management experience in Disability or Aged Care.
Nursing background
Familiar and able to use CRM systems including Flowlogic, Lookout, Brevity, Shiftcare, Alayacare, TRACCS, Prosims, Emplive, I-Dempiere and Visual Care
Understanding of NDIS Practice standards and Aged Care Standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide support to participants, employees, stakeholders, third party providers.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle complex or escalating situations.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure.
Empathy, patience and a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable people with a passion for positive outcomes.
Relevant qualifications in community services, nursing, allied health or a similar field highly regarded.
Relevant Probity checks including a Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, National Police Check and State based checks are required for this role (we will assist with this process).
