**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a highly experienced Customer Engagement Officer to join their team working remotely from home. It is an estimated 9-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within Customer Strategy and Technology Division, you will be required to provide high level project support and coordination to the Freight Business Unit. The role will also develop and manage efficient project management and administrative systems and processes to deliver a high level of customer service to stakeholders.
In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:
- Deliver high level professional customer service
- Answer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
- Support the delivery of customer engagement activities and programs
- Complete calendar and logistics management
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and events
- Preparation of high-level documentation including agenda's, briefs, correspondence, minutes presentation material and reports
- Develop professional and engaging presentations, fact sheets and other information documents
- Provide project status updates to stakeholders
- Conduct research and analysis, identifying trends and issues
- Gather and collate information to support informed decision-making outcomes
- Administer procurement duties including purchase orders, invoices, receipting and reconciliation
- Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with best practice and Departmental processes and procedures
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following:
- Demonstrated Customer Service Delivery and Engagement experience
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Superior organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Reliable remote internet access with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
