**_Key objectives & responsibilities include:_**
- Conduct and support the delivery of general fitting and turning tasks.
- Assemble and fit marine parts and equipment.
- Conduct aligning and shimming of main engines/gearboxes and shaft lines.
- Inspect work to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, tidy productive work environment with an aim to minimise all waste in all forms.
- Conduct matching/fabrication and welding duties

**_Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:_**
- Hold a Construction safety induction (white card)
- Trade Qualification - Certificate III Mechanical Fitting
- Ability to use standard tools and equipment related to the trade.
- White Card
- Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner
- Confined Space and Working at Heights ticket advantageous.
- Forklift, Dogman/Rigger license is advantageous.

- Permanent Full-Time position
- 40-hour week, Monday - Thursday
- Overtime available depending on project requirements.
- Penalty rates paid on overtime hours, as per ECA agreement.

- Banding - $39.00 onwards based on experience
