About the Role
This position provides essential statistical and analytical support to the Parole Board, focusing on the collection, interpretation, and reporting of data to inform decision-making and operational performance.
The primary responsibility of the role is to develop and implement robust methodologies for gathering, presenting, and analyzing performance-related data and information. This includes ensuring data integrity, relevance, and clarity to support strategic and operational objectives.
The role also involves active collaboration with stakeholders to identify opportunities for using data more effectively. By leveraging insights from data, the role contributes to enhancing the efficiency, transparency, and overall effectiveness of activities.
In this role you will:
* Provide high-level advice to senior executives on statistical and reporting matters related to Parole Board functions to support robust and informed decision-making.
* Lead the design and implementation of performance reporting frameworks, including business intelligence reports and dashboard analytics, to monitor and evaluate operational performance.
* Develop and maintain data queries, reports, and visualisations that support the collection, presentation, analysis, and interpretation of performance data for use in operational planning.
* Establish and apply standards and methodologies for measuring the effectiveness of policy and program initiatives.
* Deliver clear and insightful data analysis and reporting that highlights trends and patterns using effective data storytelling and visualisation techniques.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to explore opportunities for integrating diverse data sources and expertise to enhance data narratives and insights.
* Demonstrate proficiency in data management tools and platforms, including case management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI, to support data analysis and reporting activities.
* Perform additional duties as directed, in line with operational needs.

* Procurement Process
* Comprehensive knowledge and competent in carrying out end to end procurement process, including tender evaluation, processes leading to award, negotiation, contract award and debrief processes across a range of industries.
* Experience in delivering complex procurement processes.
* Able to adapt tactics to emergent situations and delivers results consistently.
* Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to provide guidance on risk mitigation for procurements.
