About the Opportunity
As a Community Connections Lead, you’ll play a key role in bringing people together. You will plan and facilitate community-based programs, events and groups that promote social connection and wellbeing.
You’ll create inclusive environments, encourage ongoing participation, and work collaboratively to integrate volunteers into activities, ensuring every program delivers value and positive experiences.
Additionally you will be responsible for logistical coordination, stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement initiatives, programs, reporting, adherence to quality compliance requirements and contributing to the long-term sustainability of ECH Community Programs
About You
You’re passionate about community, social connection and the wellbeing of older people. You value the contribution of volunteers and understand the importance of creating engaging, accessible, diverse and safe program environments.
You’re organised, collaborative and adaptable, with the confidence to lead groups, support volunteers and build strong relationships with participants, partners and colleagues.
With a natural ability to plan, coordinate and problem solve, you’re someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings energy, creativity and purpose to your work.‑
Essential
* Diploma-level qualification in Community Aged Care, Human Services, Social Sciences or a related discipline
* Minimum 2 years’ operational experience in Aged Care or Disability services
* Experience leading community programs, events and activities
* Experience working with older people with diverse needs
* National Police Clearance
* Working with Children Check
* Senior First Aid Certificate
* Unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable
* Knowledge of the aged care sector, regulatory frameworks and quality standards
* Understanding of the Support at Home and CHSP Programs
