About the role
We're looking for an experienced HC/HR Crane Truck Driver to join our team at Ferrada Hiring' in Direk, SA 5110. This is a full-time position where you'll be responsible for delivering goods Adelaide Local Only, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You'll play a key role in supporting our logistics operations and ensuring timely deliveries.
What you'll be doing
* Operate a heavy rigid or semi-trailer truck to transport construction material to various locations.
* Experience transporting general building supplies is required.
* Minimum 1 years of experience specifically transporting steel frames and structural steel materials is required.
* Ensure all deliveries are made safely, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any issues with the vehicle.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
* Provide exceptional customer service as needed.
* Follow all relevant road rules and NHVR regulations.
* Support the wider logistics team as required.
What we're looking for
* Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) or HC (Heavy Combination) driver's licence
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a professional truck driver.
* Strong understanding of road rules and safe driving practices.
* Ability to read and interpret delivery instructions and maps.
* Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety all times.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Valid Australian work rights required.
* Current crane operator certification is mandatory for this position (CV+DG).
