CBS Building Group is a North Queensland based company that tackles a wide variety of building industry projects with two locations in Townsville and Cairns. We are known for waterproofing in a variety of environments, concrete restoration and strengthening, seamless epoxy & passive fire protection. Due to the continuous growth within the industry and expansion of operations within the company, we are on the lookout for dedicated Construction Labourers to join our Townsville operation team. You will be working within a team of experienced installers to help deliver high-quality Commercial waterproofing membranes, Epoxy flooring and various works within the building industry.


About the role

This role is perfect for someone looking to find regular work within the building and construction industry.

* Installation of waterproof membranes
* Installation of epoxy / seamless flooring
* Concrete repairs / strengthening
* Mixing products and understanding the relevant data sheets
* Painting related works
* Line marking
* Complete the mandatory SWMS and Site Hazards Assessments
* Loading and unloading materials
* Preform clean ups and remove waste before leaving the work sites


About you

* Hold a Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Working at heights certificate - highly regarded but not essential
* Previous experience with painting – desirable
* Previous experience with floor coating – desirable
* Previous experience with waterproofing – desirable
* Hardworking, reliable and honest individual that is vigilant with safety procedures
* Great can-do attitude and the ability to work within a team
* The ability to be flexible with travel for projects around Queensland
* Have or willing to obtain a police clearance & blue card prior to starting
* Takes initiative and a good problem solver
* Ability to mix to ratios to Data sheets for an extensive range of products
* Available for an immediate start
* Be able to pass random drug and alcohol testing
* Ability to work for long periods standing and able to perform physical labour tasks
* Be willing to complete inductions, modules and training when required
