What's the role?
We're on the lookout for experienced and passionate Chefs living in or near Mackay to join our regional Queensland teams. These Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) roles offer the chance to work locally while delivering high-volume, nutritious meals for mining village residents. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and are committed to food safety and quality, this is your opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive, high-performing team.
Prepare and deliver meals across breakfast, crib, and dinner services
Maintain food safety standards and HACCP compliance

Who are we looking for?
Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery
Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Flexible team player with strong communication skills
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol testing)
Australian Citizenship, Full Australian working rights or eligible for visa sponsorship
Working on-site means 11-hour days on a 2:1 roster (two weeks on, one week off).
