Technical Systems Administrator Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Technical Systems Administrator to support the complex systems management, data management, and applications development and optimisation tasks required for our advanced computing environment.
The successful candidate will have experience with supercomputing cluster software skills, advanced Linux skills, and a proven track record of maintaining and monitoring high-performance systems.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Implement supercomputing system and security design;
* Install supercomputing Linux based software;
* Configure and tune supercomputing operating systems and associated Linux based software;
* Ensure supercomputing systems are maintained and system availability is at, or above, planned service levels;
* Where required, install physical supercomputing equipment;
* Carry out supercomputing Cluster Management;
* Maintain and monitor supercomputing Job Queues;
* Liaise with supercomputing user base
