The Role
This is an opportunity for an established maintenance leader or experienced tradesperson looking to step into a hands-on leadership role, supervising a team of 10-15 trades.
* Lead and coordinate a team of fitters and electricians across day and night shift
* Drive safe work practices and maintain high safety standards
* Supervise breakdown response and planned maintenance activities
* Allocate labour effectively to meet production priorities
* Support preventative and predictive maintenance programs
* Work closely with production leaders to minimise downtime
* Mentor and develop trades within your team
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
Roster: 2 days (day shift), 2 days (night shift), 4 days off.
Your Background
You’re a trade-qualified maintenance professional who understands what it takes to keep a large plant running and can lead from the front.
* Trade qualified (Mechanical Fitter, Electrician or similar)
* Solid background in industrial/manufacturing maintenance
* Previous experience leading or supervising trades (formal or informal)
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
* Comfortable working across rotating day/night shifts
* Confident communicator who can deal with both trades and production teams
* Safety-focused with a practical, no-nonsense approach
