With the mission of Building Purposeful Lives; loving God, pursuing purpose, and building capacity, our community is focused upon facilitating great learning, the service of others, and ensuring that each young person experiences loving and caring relationships in a supportive pastoral environment.Your RoleTeach Visual Arts across Stages 4–6, including elective courses and senior HSC classes.Teach elective Photographic and Digital Media to Stage 5 and Stage 6 Preliminary Photography, Video and Digital Imaging.Deliver engaging, rigorous, and creative lessons that foster both technical skill and critical thinking in artmaking, art criticism, and art history.Support students in developing bodies of work, portfolios, and exhibition practices.Integrate a variety of media, technologies, and contemporary practices into teaching and learning.Actively contribute to the creative culture of the school, including exhibitions, performances, and whole-school events.Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessment, and reporting in line with NESA and school requirements.Collaborate with colleagues to plan programs, share resources, and contribute to the growth of the Creative and Performing Arts faculty.Participate in ongoing professional learning and apply current pedagogical practice in the classroom.Authentically integrate your Christian faith into your teaching practice through pedagogy and interaction with students.Engage in pastoral care responsibilities, building strong relationships with students and contributing to the wellbeing culture of the school.Contribute to co-curricular and enrichment opportunities within the Visual Arts program (e.g., competitions, excursions, workshops).
