The Marion C. Early R-V School District located in Morrisville, MO, is accepting qualified applicants for the position of Assistant HS Baseball Coach. MCE is a 4 day school week district located conveniently between Bolivar and Springfield, MO.
Job Title: Coach
Reports to: Principal / Athletic Director
Classification: Exempt
Summary: Teachers / Coaches are responsible for providing direct instruction to students and maintaining an environment conducive to learning. Teaching/Coaching experience preferred, but not required. 60+ Credit Hours are required if you are not a full time teacher in the district. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of the volleyball program.
* Develop and implement effective training programs to improve individual and team performance.
* Collaborate with athletic department staff, parents, and community members to support the program's success.
Qualifications:
* Previous volleyball experience
* Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, strategies, and rules.
* Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to inspire, motivate, and recruit athletes into a new program.
Supervisory Duties:
Supervise students at all times.
Education:
Bachelors Degree, Graduate Degree preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
A valid Missouri teaching certificate and complete transcript(s) of college credit must be on file for each teacher before the beginning of each new school year. It is the duty of each teacher to possess a valid certificate that covers the academic year (the teaching assignment/s and all other areas listed on the certificate). The teacher must assure that all professional development requirements and other DESE requirements are met to keep certification current.

* Perform basic computer functions such as word processing and internet use.
* Use district software for recording grades and finding student information.
* Utilize smart boards, projectors and other instructional technology provided by the district.

* Move around the classroom.
* Read handwritten or printed material.

Conditions and Environment
