A rare opportunity has become available – we are recruiting for a forklift operator, warehouse storeman to join our dynamic team based in Burton, SA.
Reporting to the warehouse manager, this role suits a focused individual who has experience operating both sit‑down forklifts of varying capacities and high‑reach forklifts.
Key Responsibilities
* Picking, packing and dispatching orders.
* Unpacking palletised containers on a forklift.
* Checking and labelling stock.
* Loading and unloading of trucks.
* Co‑ordinating dispatch transport, traffic flow, and complete dispatch documentation.
* Liaising with other departments to facilitate seamless operational efficiency.
* Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the warehousing and distribution process.
* Compliance with QA and HSE policies and procedures.
Experience & Skills
* Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
* A collaborative work style.
* An understanding of supply chain, linehaul & distribution.
* Must be able to pass a pre‑employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
Desired Candidate Traits
* Clean and tidy.
* Punctual, reliable.
* Able to work unsupervised.
* Have current forklift licence.
