We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at the Victor Harbor Childcare and Education Centre. This is a part-time role based in Victor Harbor, South Australia. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the development and learning of the children in our care.
What you'll be doing
* Designing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs in collaboration with the team
* Providing a nurturing and safe environment that supports children's wellbeing and learning
* Observing and assessing children's progress, and using this information to guide planning and curriculum development
* Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and development
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements
* Participating in ongoing professional development to continually enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
* An ACECQA-approved teaching qualification
* Current registration as an Early Childhood Teacher in South Australia
* Experience working in an early childhood education setting
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
* Creativity, flexibility and a passion for inspiring young minds
* Commitment to providing high-quality care and educational experiences
* A current Working with Children's Check
* Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain upon commencement)
* Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
