Your Opportunity
Are you passionate about supporting parents to overcome barriers and achieve meaningful employment or education outcomes? Join our team as a Team Leader in the Parents Pathways Program, where you'll play a pivotal role in mentoring staff, engaging with the community, and enhancing program delivery through local insights and leadership.
As a senior mentor and support to the Program Manager, you'll help guide a dedicated team of Pathways Coaches, ensuring tailored assistance is provided to parents navigating complex life situations. Your leadership will help shape a responsive, community-focused program that makes a real difference.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* Support the Program Manager in leading and mentoring the Pathways team.
* Provide local knowledge and context to enhance program effectiveness.
* Collaborate with Pathway Coaches to implement individual support plans for parents.
* Actively engage with the community to ensure the program meets local needs.
* Offer guidance and support to both parents and team members, drawing on your experience in complex case management.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with administrative requirements
Requirements for Success
* Diploma in Community Services, Employment Services, Career Counselling, Health, or a related field.
* Experience in Family Services, Workforce Australia Services, or case management.
* Proven ability to supervise and coach team members to achieve effective outcomes.
* Strong background in working with vulnerable individuals, with a focus on relationship-building and tailored support.
* Strong administrative skills, including record-keeping and compliance management
* Willingness to travel across the Gippsland region and adjust to various program needs
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
