PRODUCTION HORTICULTURIST
About the roles
We are currently seeking a Production horticulturist to assist with multiple tasks across our 2 Sites of
Vegetable crop in Perth- Wattleup Area. A strong ability to work autonomously is required for this role in order to keep our operations running smoothly. The roles will involve the following strenuous work:
* General farm work
* Picking
* Packing
* Planting
* Weeding
* Cleaning
* Fencing
* Delivery driver
Tasks could vary on a daily or weekly basis on Monday Tuesday and Friday with the occasional weekend work, early starts from 5:00am till approximately 11:30am Summer and
Winter 7:00am to 1pm.
About you
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and have a willingness to work hard, have excellent attendance and attitude.
To be successful in this role you will;
* Be organised and able to meet deadlines
* Have the ability to undertake strenuous work activities for extended periods of time in adverse weather conditions
* Be a strong team player
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Have effective problem-solving abilities.
* Have tractor and machinery experience (not essential)
* Hand tool experience
* Be self-motivated
* Have your own reliable transport
* Current drivers licence
* Must be based in Perth, ideally Southern suburbs
