We are excited to be supporting our Client in the recruitment of an Assistant Director to join their 120 place service in Redfern. A purpose built service that caters to 120 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director and play a pivotal part in leading the growth of the service. Mentor and guide educators to promote professional growth and excellence in teaching practices. Foster strong relationships with children, families, and staff across all rooms. Provide leadership and support by floating across various rooms to drive consistency and smooth operations. Utilise non-contact time for centre management tasks, including rostering, staff development, and compliance. About you Hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or be working towards one). Have proven experience in a leadership role within early childhood education. Possess strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). Be passionate about mentoring and inspiring educators to reach their full potential. Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a supportive leadership style. Collaborate effectively with the Centre Director to meet goals and maintain high standards of care.
