Guest Service Agent Lancemore Crossley St. Melbourne


Lancemore Crossley St Hotel is looking for friendly, experienced and well-presented Team Members who will fit into our culture of delivering outstanding customer service. Currently we are looking for a casual position representing the front of house reception team.


About The Role

* Portage of guest luggage to and from suites.
* Assist reservation enquiries with rates, availability, packages and facilities and services we have to offer.
* Check guests in and out of the property accurately and in a timely manner.
* Greet all guests that come into contact with Guest Relations ensuring that the guest name is used at all times.
* Handle guest enquiries and provide information on local attractions and give directions as required.
* Answer all telephone calls within three rings in a professional friendly manner.
* Inform guests of all facilities and services available in the property.
* Set up guest accounts accurately.
* Reconcile cashier floats at the completion of each shift maintaining an accurate float.
* Document all transactions and alterations to accounts and reservations.
* Communicate with Team Members on the following shift to ensure continuity of service.
* Communicate guest requests and issues to appropriate departments promptly and efficiently.
* Ensure special requests are actioned appropriately and timely.
* Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the front desk at all times.
* Collect payment of accounts and issue receipts accordingly.
* Maintain dress and grooming standards at all times.
* Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or management team.

About You

* Passionate about delivering exceptional guest satisfaction
* Be part of a team with exceptional employee engagement
* Knowledge of a hotel's front office administrative duties – including the administration of reservations, cash handling and reception duties is a distinct advantage.
* Commitment with flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
* Proactive and positive focus with a passion for the hotel hospitality industry
