With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, they are responsible for maintaining over 8,500 lane kilometres of road in the Hume region, ensuring the safety and functionality of critical transport networks.About The RoleWorkPac is seeking dedicated Project Engineers to support a high-profile road maintenance contract in Victoria. This role provides an opportunity to oversee the full project lifecycle. Positions are available in both Wangaratta and Melbourne.Responsibilities And DutiesOversee project planning, execution, and delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.Manage cost forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers.Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.Drive efficiency and productivity in project execution.Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to the project team.Prepare and submit project reports, documentation, and progress updates.Assist in defect and hazard rectification, as well as emergency response activities.Skills & Experience RequiredBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Previous experience in civil infrastructure or road projects (preferred but not essential).Strong expertise in cost control, revenue maximisation, and forecasting.Proven ability to manage contractors and subcontractors effectively.Experience working in Tier 1 or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly regarded.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project components.A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement.Apply NowClick on the Apply button or for a confidential discussion please contact:Principal Consultant: Bella Mason via Contact Number08 9201 6268 or bella.mason@workpac.com quoting the below Reference NumberJob Reference Number: 7469J20256469About WorkPacWorkPac is Australia’s largest privately owned workforce solutions business.
