The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) is currently seeking application for an Enterprise ESI Lead, to join the Information Technology team, internally known as the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG).
This ongoing hybrid role can be based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney.
Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position is EL1: $117,665 - $138,493 p.a., plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.
About the opportunity
The Enterprise Electronic Stored Information (ESI) Lead is responsible for day-to-day operations and management of the ART's ESI governance software (MS Purview) and implementing best practice ESI operations, governance and data loss prevention. The role is required to provide strong leadership on strategy, opportunity, risks and deliver authoritative advice and status to executive, management and stakeholders.
In this role you'll be responsible for analysing a range of M365 ESI features, planning initiatives based on business value/alignment and implementing those initiatives in conjunction with ART stakeholders. You will be instrumental in ensuring that ESI is managed in a way that is efficient, secure, economical and consistent with government information management expectations.
This role sits within the Technology Security, Risk and Assurance (TSRA) section of the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG), and reports to the Director, TSRA.
The TSRA team is comprised of eight passionate team members that are geographically dispersed across Australia and use a scrum/scrumban approach to delivery management.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will be:
* Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Purview, Entra ID, D365, Copilot, SharePoint, and Windows File Shares.
* Able to conceptualise how traditional ESI frameworks can be applied to the abstracted Cloud model and understand how contemporary architecture can mitigate risk while providing increased business flexibility
* Autonomous, inquisitive, and consistently challenge the status quo in pursuit of efficiency dividends whilst not compromising on security posture
* Well acquainted with Australian Government cyber security frameworks, the Privacy Act 1988, National Archives Act 1983, Freedom of Information Act 1982, and AI
* A thirst for continuous learning of cutting-edge technology and be able to contextually apply this knowledge when solutioning novel approaches to manage ESI risk and enable secure business.
* Able to communicate complex information clearly and succinctly, both orally and in written material.

Essential:
* Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance
* The Tribunal requires Australian Citizenship as a condition of engagement.
* All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and a Health Assessment.
Desirable:
* Academic or Vocational certification in Technology and/or appropriate industry better practice standards and frameworks with specialisation in cyber security (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, GIAC).
* Degree or post graduate qualifications in information, technology, management and/or related disciplines.
