What we are looking for:
We're
looking for someone with strong project management skills to join our high performing team.
You'll
manage the delivery or a diverse range of park, open
space
and natural environment related projects. This is a varied, interesting position and an excellent opportunity to hone your skills.
What your day will look like:
* Overseeing projects from
inception
through to completion
* Investigating proposed capital projects and
determining
validity
* Overseeing engaged internal
and external
consultants
* Engaging with key community
and council
stakeholders
* Undertaking procurement, managing budgets, and reporting
* Providing input into the 10 Year Capital Program

What
you'll
need for success:
You'll
have
significant experience
in a similar role and will be confident and capable managing projects from
inception
to completion.
Ideally
you'll
have worked within a parks and open space environment, with a knowledge of relevant acts and legislation.
You'll
have:
* Strong communication
skills with the ability to relate well to a variety of people
* Experience in contracts and
procurement
tendering
processes
including tendering
* Solid organisational, planning and time management skills
