About the role
The Y WA is currently recruiting for an Early Childhood Teacher to join our Newman Early Learning Centre team. We are seeking a passionate teacher with great communication skills, a love for early childhood education, and the ability to build strong, genuine relationships with parents, staff, and young children.
What does the role look like?
* Encouraging and nurturing children to grow socially and emotionally, instilling a love of learning through a variety of strategies and activities.
* Working to develop a program that meets the needs of individual children and reflects children's interests, development, culture, and the YMCA's Approach to Learning.
* Liaising, supporting, and assisting parents in a friendly, non‐judgemental, personal way.
* Maintaining the required developmental records of children as required by the Regulations, EYLF and the NQF.

Essential requirements
* Degree in Early Childhood Education, or working toward a degree or equivalent qualification.
* Understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012, the EYLF, and the NQF.
* Experience developing and implementing programs.
* HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance and Working with Children check.
* Previous experience working in an Early Learning Centre.
