We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Storeperson to join our team in Newton, South Australia, for immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity to work with premium imported food and wine products and contribute to the success of our fast-growing company.

About the role:

As a Storeperson, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within our warehouse. You will work with a diverse range of premium food and beverage products, including rare and imported wines, cheeses, smallgoods, and other dry goods. This is a full-time contract position, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a day shift, approximately 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

* Receive, check-off, and put away incoming stock.
* Pick and pack orders for dispatch.
* Load and unload goods from trucks.
* Forklift operation.
* Prepare and complete transport documentation as required.
* Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
* Conduct regular stock takes.
* Manual hand unloading of containers.
* Assist with inventory control and management.
* Adhere to all safety and WHS procedures.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Storeperson or in a similar role is required, however, we are also open to considering candidates with relevant skills and a strong work ethic.

* Forklift licence and experience (required).
* Driver's license and reliable transport (required).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* IT and Microsoft Office Suite skills for order entry, excel, communication, and email.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy items up to 25kg.
* Experience with inventory management systems (preferred).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Food Safety Handling Certification (preferred)
