About the role
Provide specialist one-on-one counselling, support and advocacy for children and adults who have experienced recent or historical sexual assault.
Deliver crisis response within the Tamworth Hospital Emergency Department, coordinating care for individuals who have been recently assaulted.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, NSW Police and the Department of Communities and Justice to ensure clients receive holistic, timely and compassionate support.

Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling or Psychology with eligibility for membership to the AASW or Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or registration as a Psychologist with the APHRA
Additional information
To be eligible for permanent employment you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part-time and temporary part-time vacancies.
