As a Director of Heritage Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the Land and Heritage Unit within our organization.
The Role
* Lead and mentor heritage project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects.
* Oversee all operational aspects of the unit, including budget management and reporting.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
* Represent the organization at heritage meetings and conferences.
You will be working closely with our Traditional Owner survey teams to promote cultural safety and uphold our values in all operations. This role requires senior leadership experience in heritage management, as well as strong understanding of Aboriginal heritage legislation and compliance frameworks.
About You
* Proven track record in stakeholder engagement, staff management, and team development.
* Financial literacy and experience managing budgets and invoicing.
* Culturally respectful and able to work effectively with Traditional Owners.
* Tertiary qualification in Archaeology, Anthropology, Environmental Science or similar.
* Current driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to remote locations.
