Purpose‑Driven Education & Community Organisation- Community College with RTO, NESA registered Special Assistance School and OSHC

Commencing: Anticipated start date is late 2026, to be negotiated with the successful applicant

We are seeking an experienced, values‑driven CEO to lead a complex, community‑centred organisation delivering inclusive education services.

This is a pivotal leadership role for a CEO who can balance social purpose with commercial acumen, translate strategy into action, and lead with empathy, clarity, and accountability.

A relentless commitment to building on current success whilst heralding initiatives that propel potential growth will be the agenda. The future horizon for MNCCC is one of growth in programs and infrastructure. The next CEO will be a leader who has a proven track record in successful change management.

Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to lead a purpose‑driven, community‑centred education organisation at a pivotal stage of its development.

You will join an organisation with a strong social mission, deep community connections, and the scope to make a measurable difference in the lives of children, young people, adults and families, particularly those experiencing disadvantage. The organisation delivers a diverse range of education and community services, offering a uniquely integrated leadership role with both breadth and impact.

As CEO, you will work in genuine partnership with an engaged Board that values good governance, clarity of roles, and transparent decision‑making. There is both permission and expectation to lead—to stabilise, strengthen, and evolve the organisation while staying true to its purpose and values.

What's on offer?

Opportunities like this are rare. The position has become available due to the current CEO stepping down to retire after almost 10 years of outstanding service and unwavering commitment. The successful candidate will benefit from:

* The opportunity to shape the next chapter of a complex, multi‑service organisation
* Meaningful work that balances educational excellence, community impact, and financial sustainability
* A leadership environment that values ethics, inclusion, and evidence‑based practice
* The chance to influence regional outcomes and build lasting partnerships across education, government, and community sectors
* Flexibility, trust, and the mandate to lead with authenticity and care

About the Role

As CEO, you will have overall responsibility for organisational performance, culture, compliance, and long‑term viability. You will lead multiple operational entities, including accredited community education, senior school programs, and children's education and care services, ensuring integrated leadership and consistent quality across all divisions.

You will act as the organisation's Public Officer and primary representative, building strong relationships with community, government, education, and industry stakeholders.

About You

You are a senior leader who combines strategic insight, operational discipline, and genuine commitment to community impact. You are comfortable working with Boards, navigating complex regulatory environments, and successfully leading multidisciplinary teams through change.

Tertiary qualifications in leadership, education, community services, or business

Senior executive leadership experience in a complex organisation (education, community, or not‑for‑profit preferred)

Minimum of 3‑5 years senior executive leadership experience in a complex organisation

Strong financial, governance, and risk management capability

Demonstrated success in innovation, funding, partnerships, and organisational growth

Experience working closely with Boards

Knowledge of education, training, and community‑based service environments

Personal Attributes

Deep and passionate commitment to community development and inclusive education

Empathy and understanding of socio‑economic disadvantage

Ethical, resilient, and values‑driven leadership style

Strong communicator who builds trust, clarity, and shared purpose

Employment Conditions

Remuneration: Comprehensive for the right candidate and negotiable based on skills and expertise

Hours: Flexible, including some evening and weekend work as required

Compliance requirements: Working With Children Check, National Criminal Record Check, and valid driver's licence

Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.

How to Apply

Applications should include:

* A cover letter addressing your suitability for the role
* A current CV

If you are a CEO who is motivated by mission, complexity, and community impact, and who thrives in a role where leadership genuinely matters, this is an opportunity to make a lasting contribution. We would like to hear from you.

Applications close Monday 9th March 2026 by 5pm
