…if you’re a true illustrator at heart and you light up at the thought of seeing your characters turn into real, physical product - not just artwork on a screen.
A rare opportunity for a commercially minded Kidswear Designer to own and evolve kids’ product ranges at a design-led lifestyle and apparel company. You’ll sketch it, sample it, tweak it, see it printed, stitched, embroidered and brought to life - often all under one roof.

What you’ll be doing:
* Owning and evolving kids’ product ranges from initial illustration through to final production.
* Creating original characters, graphics and motifs that translate across multiple categories - apparel, plush, accessories, stationery, headwear and more.
* Taking a single idea and building it into a full commercial product story.
* Working closely with in-house production teams to trial prints, placements, embroidery and embellishment - fast.
* Developing tech packs and collaborating directly with top-tier global factories.
* Contributing to ranges sold internationally across major tourist destinations and high-traffic retail environments.
* Designing product with longevity in mind - not four-week fashion drops, but graphics that can become long-term bestsellers.
What you’ll bring:
* A strong illustration portfolio - characters, kids-friendly graphics, icons, repeat prints, placement artwork, patches and badges.
* Genuine experience designing for physical product, not just digital or marketing channels.
* Exposure to structured, high-volume retail or brand environments (think large, process-driven businesses where calendars and approvals matter).
* Experience across kidswear, kids accessories, headwear, plush, gift or similar categories.
* Confidence developing tech packs and working with factories, understanding production limitations (scale, colour counts, stitching detail, fabrication).
* A growth mindset - someone who wants to learn the full product lifecycle end-to-end.
* Reliability, maturity and a long-term outlook - you’re not chasing hype, you’re motivated by craft, scale and impact.
