The Parks & Gardens Apprenticeship
* Assist in the maintenance and care of parks, gardens, and green areas.
* Gain hands‐on experience in horticultural practices, including planting, pruning, and weeding.
* Learn how to operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools.
The Sports Turf Management Apprenticeship
* Assist in the maintenance and presentation of sports grounds, ovals, and turf surfaces.
* Mow, edge, line‐mark, and prepare sporting fields for use.
* Learn turf‐care techniques including fertilising, aeration, and pest management.
The Irrigation Technology Traineeship
* Support maintenance and repair of irrigation infrastructure.
* Learn to troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues and system faults.
* Work with site plans and irrigation layouts under supervision.
The ideal Horticulture Apprentice
* Enthusiasm for the horticulture industry.
* A genuine interest in plants, landscaping, outdoor maintenance and/or irrigation.
* Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Valid driver's licence – desirable.
* Previous work experience and/or Pre‐Apprenticeship – desirable.
