Support Services Professional
You will be part of a team that provides support to individuals with disabilities. Your role will involve working with clients in a variety of settings, including their homes and the community. You will be responsible for providing personal care, managing challenging behaviours, and promoting independence.
* Community Liaison: Assist clients in participating in activities and events in the community.
* Life Skills Trainer: Teach life skills to clients, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
* Care Provider: Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
* Behaviour Specialist: Work with clients to develop and implement behaviour plans.
* Family Communicator: Communicate with clients' families to share progress and involve them in the care planning process.
* Transporter: Transport clients to appointments and activities using a van.
* Record Keeper: Maintain accurate records and ensure that all administrative tasks are completed.
