**Position Information**:
Sylvania High School is a comprehensive high school located in the Sutherland Shire and residing on the land of the Dharawal people. The student population is approximately 740 drawn with approximately 45% EAL/D students. The staff are committed to sustaining a positive learning culture that has ensured the school is highly valued by the community. Our school has a well-established reputation for outstanding academic, performing & creative arts and sporting achievements. The school has a Support Unit with two Autism (AU) classes, and one Intellectually Moderate and Autism (I/O, AU) class. **Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach Mathematics (7-10) and Mathematics (11-12). Experience in delivering Mathematics (Advanced) and/or Extension advantageous but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to deliver teaching and assessment programs that meet the needs of all learners to promote academic growth.
Demonstrated ability to proactively manage classroom behaviour, promoting engagement and inclusive relationships for learning.
Ability to integrate technologies to support differentiation and formative assessment practices.
Ability and enthusiasm in contributing to faculty and whole-school cultures focused on continual improvement
