About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Specialist for our business located in Canberra. This is your prospect to become a vital member of the team in a collaborative and supportive manner. It is a full-time role.
To be considered for this role, you will need to hold a Tertiary qualification and 3 to 5 years’ proven experience working in a similar position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analyses to evaluate procurement tenders and formulate and implement strategic procurement plans that align with our business objectives.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement process records, track order and delivery status in real-time, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of system data.
- Participate in supply chain strategic planning, and align procurement objectives with the company's production and sustainable development directions.
- Establish and maintain long-term cooperative relationships with core suppliers and other internal and external stakeholders, fostering a network of trust and collaboration.
- Carry out the evaluation and assessment of supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Compile and prepare detailed reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis for management review, providing actionable cost optimization insights and recommendations.
