Netanya Noosa is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to contribute to the smooth operation of the resort Maintenance Department. The resort has 445 apartments and we are located on Hastings Street with high guest expectations so attention to detail and a cheerful outlook is crucial for this role.
You will be required to be available between the hours of 5am - 5pm, so flexibility is essential, including weekends. The position is for a casual employee and hours will fluctuate based on the demand of the business, however you could expect a minimum of 30 hours a week.
Some of the duties that will be required, although not limited to:
- Servicing and maintaining the resort pool and spa, with pool equipment and chemical experience desirable and highly regarded
- Ensuring the pool surrounds and guest areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
- Routine scheduled maintenance of guest apartments
- The ability to learn new tasks and carry out other duties as requested by the Maintenance Manager
- Working unsupervised and completing the tasks required under a structured time frame is essential to the position
