The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for a Mine Planning Superintendent to join a leading player in the coal mining industry. In this role, you will oversee a small team of short and long term mine planners to play a pivotal role in shaping the future operations for the company.
The ideal candidate will be based in Mackay or somewhere surrounding and will DIDO to site on a Monday to Friday roster. This position offers a long project lifecycle, generous remuneration and excellent career growth within a supportive team.
About You:
o Bachelor in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
o Experience as a Mine Planning Superintendent or equivalent.
o Experience in open cut coal is favourable.
o Knowledge of Spry and Vulcan is favourable.
o Excellent leadership skills.
o Open Australian driver's license.
o Based in Mackay or surrounding areas.
