Reporting to the Regional Manager, with a team of Field Managers as direct reports, your responsibilities will include:Managing the progress of works at various sites in coordination with project staff to meet client expectations within time, budget, safety, environmental, and quality standardsEnsuring the delivery team meets or exceeds performance, quality, and customer experience requirementsForecasting, planning, and reviewing project execution with relevant personnel in accordance with contractual requirementsLeading and facilitating a team of field managers to deliver projects on budget, on schedule, and to quality standardsPromoting innovative solutions to project issues and variations to optimize profitability and service excellencePlanning site inspections, contingency plans, work handovers, and operational managementLeading incident and accident investigations, developing corrective actions, and communicating lessons learnedConducting weekly Quality & HSE auditsTo be successful, you’ll need:At least 5 years’ experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) environmentsPreferably 5+ years’ experience in a ticket-of-work environmentExtensive experience with nbn technologies across multiple sites, working with internal and external stakeholdersStrong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, managing large, dispersed, and diverse teams including subcontractorsExcellent business acumen, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to manage complaints and stakeholder escalations effectivelyExperience in business partnering with operational teams and leadershipKnowledge of FTTX or HFC activation and assurance activitiesKnowledge of nbn network and build processesValid NSW Driver’s LicenceWillingness to travel and work away from homeAbout VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand.
