About the role
We are currently assisting Wollongong City Council in the recruitment of a Property Development Manager.
This is a unique opportunity for someone from a commercial property development, advisory or asset strategy background who enjoys working on complex, high-impact projects without the responsibility of managing staff.
In this role, you will work closely with senior management to assess opportunities across Council-owned land and assets, providing commercially sound and well considered recommendations.
Responsibilities:
* Assess special project and development opportunities across Council-owned land and assets
* Prepare feasibility assessments, business cases and commercial recommendations
* Provide advice on asset optimisation and investment opportunities
* Analyse complex information and present clear, evidence-based recommendations
* Work closely with senior stakeholders across a range of projects
* Contribute to sustainable, commercially sound and community-focused outcomes
Requirements:
* Commercial experience in property development, advisory, strategy or a similar field
* Strong analytical and feasibility assessment skills
* The ability to assess opportunities and make sound commercial recommendations
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
