Job Description
HEP 5 $76,459 - $87,825 per annum + 17% employer superannuation. This is a full time (36.75 hours per week), fixed-term contract until 31 December 2025.

The Opportunity
The overall purpose of the Finance Officer, Operational Accounting is to provide business stakeholders from across the University, with the necessary transactional support and advice to meet their day-to-day financial requirements.
Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Provide professional customer service to our internal stakeholders requiring transactional support and advice within pre-determined service standards.
* Make decisions concerning clients regarding their day-to-day transactions and other financial records management, providing accurate, up to date and comprehensive information or referral.
* Provide a range of services supporting the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including but not limited to the creation of new suppliers/debtors, raising invoices, student payments and refunds.
* Preparation and uploading of journals and accruals with appropriate records retained for ledger integrity and month-end requirements.
* Working proactively as part of a team and sharing work and responsibilities with fellow Finance Officers and supporting the Financial Control function to ensure requests are addressed within appropriate deadlines.
