SALARY: $95,*********,032 p.a. + Super
Work Type: Permanent Full Time
Location: Alan Baker Art Gallery - 37 John St, Camden ****

Are you an arts and culture expert looking for an opportunity to have a wide-reaching impact within the community? As our Cultural Project Officer, you would be an integral member of our dynamic and innovative Cultural Activation team, delivering and promoting arts and culture engagement across the Camden LGA.
Your role will use your exceptional knowledge of cultural management and administration to build effective working relationships and analyse community needs and priorities. You will have direct input into Council's Cultural Activation and Public Art Strategies, ensuring accessible and relevant arts and culture to the community.

Essential
Relevant tertiary qualifications in arts, cultural or creative industries management or demonstrated equivalent industry experience.
Demonstrated experience developing and delivery cultural strategy, policy, programs and community-based initiatives, which build community capacity, strengthen social connection and increase participation.
Demonstrated experience preparing submissions and grant applications, and subsequent administration, in alignment with government policy frameworks and funding programs.
Demonstrated ability to project manage multi-disciplinary initiatives in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent professional communication and presentation skills including the preparation of reports, briefs and general documentation, and delivery of presentations in a group environment.
Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times.
Desirable
Previous experience and/or knowledge of the local government environment.
Demonstrated skills and experience in the formulation and implementation of creative enterprise and cultural engagement processes across a broad range of industries
Proficiency with Microsoft Office computer applications.
