The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our dynamic MN team. Reporting to senior leadership, you will play a key role in managing and resolving client cases, supervising staff, and driving successful outcomes while upholding the firm's high ethical and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of Medical Negligence matters from intake to resolution.
* Prepare and review pleadings, Statements of Claim, and other court documents.
* Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on case merits.
* Attend conferences, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings with clients and barristers.
* Negotiate and settle claims in line with client instructions.
* Maintain regular and clear communication with clients, ensuring superior client service.
* Supervise and mentor support staff to ensure compliance with firm protocols.
* Meet individual KPIs including file management, client satisfaction, and fee budgets.
* Maintain compliance with all professional obligations, including CPD requirements.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge and experience in Medical Negligence Law and related legal principles
* Prepare and review pleadings, Statements of Claim, and other court documents.
* Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on case merits.
