The Opportunity
As a Manager at Easdowns, you will play an important part in enabling our next phase of growth. You will become an integral part of the broader team and be mentored by Partners to help you grow into leadership positions. This isn't just compliance work. As a Manager, you'll be providing high value advisory work and directly helping clients navigate complex challenges. You will also play a key role in mentoring and supporting the team, helping shape a culture of excellence, growth and community.
What you will be doing:
* Work with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
* Provide tax planning, advice and advisory services to clients
* Mentor and train staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
* Development and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory service and solutions to add value long-term
* be responsible for management and quality in the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
* Manage and review the preparation of BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
* Communicate and manage requirements for the various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
* Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
* Help provide exceptional service to our clients
About You
* Minimum of 8 years' experience in a Private Accounting Practice
* Attained a Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
* Expertise in Xero practice tax and accounting software
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
* Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
