Job Title: Operational Efficiency Specialist
A key role within a large organization, the Operational Efficiency Specialist is responsible for enhancing operational efficiencies and optimizing processes.
The successful candidate will conduct in-depth analyses of all stages of meat processing operations, identify areas for improvement, and design effective systems to increase productivity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct analysis of meat processing operations to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
* Develop and implement new methods and systems to optimize techniques and workflow.
* Engage with stakeholders to assist with analysis and coordination of potential opportunities for frozen stock movement.
* Review proposals from potential buyers and analyze to identify best ROI.
* Work closely with operational, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to integrate new methods and practices.
* Recommend and implement new technologies to improve productivity and quality in the processing line.
* Monitor and report on process effectiveness, providing feedback to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role within food processing or manufacturing industry, meat processing preferred.
Desired Skills:
* Certified in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
