Business Manager – Al‑Ameen College
Al‑Ameen College seeks a strategic and operational leader to serve as Business Manager, reporting to the College Principal and Board. The role involves overseeing and managing the school's Business Operations and services, including Human Resources, Finance, ICT, Administration and Facilities.
Additionally, the Business Manager supports the Principal and Board in Governance, Risk and Compliance, infrastructure development and contract management.
The Business Manager collaborates with the Principal to realize the college's vision and strategic plan, ensuring integrity and sustainability while fostering a positive, respectful and inclusive culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the college's Business Operations, including Human Resources, Finance, ICT, Administration and Facilities.
* Support the College Principal and Board in Governance, Risk and Compliance, infrastructure development and contract management.
* Collaborate with the Principal to realize the college's vision and strategic plan, ensuring integrity and sustainability while fostering a positive, respectful and inclusive culture.
* Lead teams in a culture of growth, demonstrating values of excellence, respect, integrity and compassion.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3‑5 years' experience in a similar role within a school or comparable organisation.
* Strong financial and business acumen.
* Experience or capacity to develop the necessary skills in HR, facilities and contract management.
* Prior experience in education or the not‑for‑profit sector.
* Valid Working with Children's Check and Police Record Check.

Al‑Ameen College (Langford & Malaga) is an independent Islamic co‑educational K‑12 primary and secondary day school, located in Langford, a southern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. With approximately 1,200 students and 100 staff, the college is in a phase of growth and will open a new campus in Malaga, commencing in 2026 as a primary school. The college nurtures the total development of each student in a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment, and encourages families to contribute to the community.
