 
        
        About the Role 
We’re seeking an energetic and results-driven Retail Sales Development Manager to join our WA team, overseeing Metro Perth and surrounding suburbs. This role involves servicing retail outlets such as Supercheap Auto, Autobarn, Autopro, and other automotive retailers. Ideally, the successful candidate will be based in Perth Metro or surrounding suburbs. This full-time role focuses on building and growing relationships with key retail partners and will play an essential role in driving Penrite’s presence in the retail sector, helping to increase sales, brand visibility, and customer loyalty. 
This position reports directly to the National Retail Manager and will involve some weekend and evening work for trade shows, store openings, promotions, and other key events. 
Responsibilities 
- Develop and execute retail sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase market share. 
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers, ensuring Penrite products are well-promoted and accessible. 
- Work closely with retail partners to develop promotional campaigns and increase product visibility in stores. 
- Monitor retail trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. 
- Represent Penrite at retail trade shows, promotions, and events, strengthening our brand presence in the retail sector. 
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, offering insights into market conditions and performance. 
What We’re Looking For 
- At least 5 years’ experience in retail sales management or a similar field, with a strong focus on building relationships and driving sales growth. 
- Prior tenure with a major oil brand or a reseller/distributor of a major oil and lubricant company. 
- A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, particularly in the retail or consumer goods sectors. 
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building and maintaining customer relationships. 
- A proactive, self-motivated approach, with excellent time management and organisational skills. 
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
